Remo Nifantani, founder of REMI, achieved success through his determination and ability to overcome difficulties.
It was 1961, and after years of hard work as a skilled worker in a tube factory, Remo decided to start his own business. Unsatisfied with his working condition, he spent his evenings designing a new machine, the one that enabled him to start REMI, an artisan company specializing in the manufacture of cardboard tubes for the textile and plastics industries.
In just a few years REMI grew rapidly thanks to Remo’s dedication, supported by his wife Michelina and their son Carlo. The company has won a demanding clientele in the textile and plastics industries, becoming a benchmark for the supply of cardboard tubes.
Year after year, evolving in methods and techniques and investing in automated production facilities, the company has been able to meet increasingly complex needs. The covered area has increased from 1000 square meters to 4500 square meters, with an additional 3000 square meters of uncovered area.
Today, REMI produces high quality pipes in a short time, guaranteeing timely deliveries thanks to its own vehicles and loyal couriers, operating throughout Italy and Europe.
Over the years Remi has evolved tremendously thanks to the tenacity of the owners. We have installed new production facilities all automated to meet all kinds of customer needs.
Currently REMI is spread over two production units: the Oleggio unit, with a covered area of almost 4500 square meters and the Castelletto Sopra Ticino unit with a covered area of 2500 square meters.
From here at least 170 trucks leave every month destined for more and more countries around the world.
We also have a large warehouse (1500 sqm) of finished product in stock.
